In this 6 to 8 week program I will guide you on a journey to better overall health by understanding the gut-brain connection, how what you eat affects your mood, and why exercise and movement of any sort is essential to a healthier mind and body. We’ve all had bad days, weeks or maybe even months and most of us bounce back with a little willpower and changes in our day to day lives. It’s a challenge though and having guidelines and someone to support you can help. Overview (but not limited to) - Nutrition and lifestyle changes to combat low or unstable moods - Improving energy, mental clarity, and reducing ‘brain fog’ - Balancing hormones through diet and lifestyle - Incorporating exercise and movement for faster results Program Includes: - Nutritional Consultation approx. 90 min including Physical/Lifestyle areas - Discuss your level of fitness to determine where you are at in relation to exercise needs and capabilities - Lifestyle Discussion (regarding beliefs/behaviors associated with where you currently are). - Guided meal planning with an emphasis on including foods shown to help reduce mild depression and anxiety (not to be taken as medical advice). - Guidelines and resources to achieving a more active lifestyle, along with education on how and why physical movement can help with mild to moderate depression. - Incorporation of mindfulness practices, like breathing, meditation, and tapping into root causes because a healthy body and mind go hand in hand. From there I will put together a plan tailored to your wants and needs. The goal of this program is to help you transition into a sustainable healthier lifestyle. We will break old habits and create new ones that will serve you better in the long term. Support: - 1x weekly 30 min phone/video call to address where you are at and keep you motivated and on track. - 1x weekly email check in as needed depending on you. Time and consistency are the only way to achieve goals in any area of life and sometimes it helps to know you have someone behind you that will help to keep pushing you forward.
